FlowerTrials again a Success
The event was spread across different regions in the Netherlands and Germany, and participants included some of the sector's best known companies.
One was Syngenta FloriPro Services which played an important role, inviting visitors to view its Young Plant Production centre – in De Lier, The Netherlands – where it displayed and explained its top products and new ranges.
Closer to you
The show's four days showcased the central theme of Syngenta FloriPro Services for FlowerTrials®, - Closer to You: closer to visitors, with its skilled staff ready to answer questions. Closer to customers, providing them with suggestions and stimulation through new ranges of plants and colours, this year perfectly integrated with the strategic aspects of the exhibition, and closer to production processes too, thanks to the guided tours of the Young Plant Production centre.
Visitors were first greeted by a large display of Pelargoniums from cuttings, long a speciality of Syngenta FloriPro Services...to the point where it is also known as “the Pelargonium Company”. Its predominant position in this sector derives from the quality of the varieties it offers, the healthiness of its stock and the range of different characteristics within the 12 kinds of Pelargonium it produces, catering for every taste. New introductions on display included a new shade in Calliope (Hot Rose) and in Caliente (Fire), which is a real eye-catcher for consumers' gardens.
Javelin on target
Among perennials, the outstanding performer is undoubtedly the Lavender range: this boasts exquisite colours, extraordinary perfume, compact plants and above all a wide range of varieties, which makes it possible for FloriPro Services to offer the best plant for every market. An interesting novelty among lavenders from cuttings is Lavandula stoechas Javelin™ Upright White Blush. This has a highly unusual colour, and represents a new Lavandula stoechas benchmark, flowering from June to October.
In the field of annuals from cuttings, the great Lanai Twister series showed three new introductions with a much-improved plant habit in comparison to the ‘old’ Twister varieties. With this series you will surprise and delight your customers with a unique eye-catching plant which will attract consumers at retail.
Thank you once again for finding the time in your busy schedule to visit us - we look forward to seeing you again next year in week 24!
